1. General Catalog Terms

The digital content, designs, and metadata published on this website (collectively referred to as "the Catalogue") represent a boutique portfolio showcase for DPK Kataria. This website does not function as an e-commerce platform. No financial transactions, purchases, or order fulfillment agreements are executed through this portal.

All designs shown are subject to store availability and the physical verification of weight, alloy purities, and stone settings inside our authorized showroom locations in Ratlam, Ujjain, and Mandsaur.

2. Live Market Pricing & Valuation

Live gold rates published on our topbar or widgets represent approximate, real-time market trends for 22K (91.6% purity) and 24K (99.9% purity) gold.

Prices calculated on specific design detail pages are approximations based on base weights and current rate averages. The final, legally binding invoice price is determined solely at the physical showroom at the time of purchase, incorporating current bullion rates, exact design weight assessments, making charges, and the statutory 3% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

3. Bespoke Crafting Tolerances

When a client requests custom adaptations of an ornament (such as ring-sizing adjustments, custom metal carats, or specific gemstone swaps):

  • A structural design weight variation tolerance of up to +/- 10mg is standard due to handcrafting nuances.
  • Final billing is calculated based on the actual verified gram weight of the completed design, which may differ slightly from the catalog model's base metrics.

4. Old Gold Exchange & Melting Assays

Our gold exchange appraisal estimates are subject to physical inspection. Old gold trade-in valuations are verified under double-check parameters:

To determine absolute metal purity, old ornaments may undergo melting assays or spectrometer(karatmeter) scans at the showroom. DPK is not responsible for dirt, solder, or synthetic stone weight deductions found during the melting process. All deductions are explained transparently to the customer before melting.

5. Jewellery Exchange Policy

Jewellery purchased from DP Kataria Pvt. Ltd. can be exchanged at any DP Kataria Pvt. Ltd. showroom for an item of the same value, subject to the following conditions:

  • The jewellery must be unused and in its original condition.
  • Exchange must be requested within 7 days from the date of the cash memo.
  • The original cash memo must be presented at the time of exchange.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID of the person making the exchange is required.
  • The jewellery must not have been tampered with, altered, or resized.
  • Cash refunds are not available; only exchanges for items of equal value are permitted.
  • The showroom manager’s decision regarding the exchange will be final.
